Is Let GO state a
being
Lazy state?
Even after years of graduation, I would get dreams of exams
and reminding myself to get up and study. After waking up I would heave a sigh
of relief that it was just a dream. NO MORE exams. I would wonder from where this
thought erupted and why was it so strong? I realised that the conditioning of
exams and study was deep rooted within me and I had not let-go of the fear of
exams.
These dreams would keep on recurring sporadically. I
wondered why it was tormenting me like this? How could I get rid of this?
I had to relax myself. In the process, I discovered that
relaxing is the most difficult aspect of life. I could see that it was easy to
keep myself engaged in music, work, movies, gossip and so on. When I had
nothing to do I saw that I would end up cleaning up my wardrobe or reading a
book which would eventually lead to sleep.
Being awake and still doing nothing was next to impossible
for me. I would feel that am wasting my time. I had to do something productive.
Out of guilt that I have to keep myself busy, again I would start engaging
myself in one activity or other.
Become Guilt-free
When I met wise people and learnt that it is okay to “STOP a
while” and relax. I was completely spell-bound by this beautiful concept of
“Let-Go”.
I realised that only when the inner content is being
depleted relaxation surrounds you. If I go on filling myself with thoughts of
being busy endlessly, I was everywhere but nowhere.
I then started observing people when they are restless, they
start to panic.
Stop Judging
I truly started experiencing a kind of freedom when I
stopped self-judging. Mere acceptance out of choice was a true blessing. It is
also okay to laze around.
Flow of Creative
Energy
The more and more I learned to relax myself, the quality of
my work in terms of creative and productive output increased. I simply loved
what I did. I did receive appreciation in my work.
Let-go is a beautiful state of energy to explore and
experience. All we need to do in let-go is to start being comfortable with our
selves. Relax the body and mind just for a few minutes every day. It works
wonders. Whenever I find myself getting tensed or feeling sick, I smile at
myself and tell that it is time for me to relax.
